payabl. becomes accredited with a Collecting Payment Service Provider (CPSP) licence

A CPSP license is the compulsory accreditation required by PSPs that offer iDEAL as a payment method within the European Economic Area (EEA) and came into effect after the UK left the EU. This license holds immense significance for any payment service provider aiming to establish a strong foothold in the realm of online payments.

“As part of our business activity, it is important for us to be compliant with local regulations and requirements of our service providers. It is an important step as the Netherlands is one of the key markets for payabl.” said Igor Skachkov, CPO at payabl.

Holding a CPSP license is also essential for payabl. to continue expanding our partnerships across the EU.

"Partnerships are an important part of payabl.'s growth strategy in the EU, and obtaining a CPSP license is a crucial step in ensuring that we can continue to strengthen these partnerships and expand our reach. The Dutch market and the partnership with iDeal hold immense significance for any payment service provider aiming to establish a strong foothold in the realm of online payments.” said Nikolett Palinkas, SVP of Client Relations (Acquiring)

iDeal is a widely recognized and trusted online payment method in the Netherlands. Its integration can bring numerous advantages to a payment service provider seeking to excel in this competitive landscape and we are proud to continue our partnership.
